    Join Us for the 5th Annual Temecula Half Marathon & 5K presented by California Coast Credit Union in Wine Country! Stay tuned for date and registration release.

    There will be NO PARKING available at Wilson Creek for this event. We need to leave space for their loyal tasting room goers! Therefore all participants will need to park at Lake Skinner (37701 Warren Road, Winchester, California 92596) and we will shuttle you over to the race start. Check your email for detailed parking instructions coming soon. The ONLY exception is if you make a reservation for brunch at Wilson Creek after the race you may park on site, a WCW attendant will have a list of reservations – so hurry up and get on that list if you want to park on-site and have brunch at Wilson Creek post race. Their brunches DO FILL UP so make your reservation by calling (951) 699-9463 today! Shuttles will be running beginning at 6:00 am and ending at 1pm. Follow the signs through Lake Skinner for parking directions.

    Race up and down dirt country roads in wine country, then raise your glass at a finish line beer and wine tasting — all in support of the Rose Again Foundation!!! Presented by California Coast Credit Union and Sandy Feet Events, the 4th annual Temecula Half Marathon & 5K at Wilson Creek Winery has limited space!

    The Course

    The Temecula 5K course travels through scenic back country roads, while the Half Marathon out-and-back takes runners past vineyards and farmland. Both hilly, the 5K is an easier course, while the Half Marathon offers a hard (hilly and hot) challenge. Remember, dirt roads are better on your knees. Temperatures are expected to be chilly at the start for this fall race, heating up to the 90s by midday. Bring cash if you want to drink a little extra. Proceeds from wine tasting goes to the Rose Again Foundation. The Temecula Half Marathon & 5K will take place rain or shine. However, if conditions become unsafe, the race will be rescheduled. No refunds will be made. The Half Marathon is limited to 3.5 hours. If you need to transfer from one distance to another; if you go up in price – you pay the difference; if you go down in price you lose the difference. Race entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.

    The Cause

    The Rose Again Foundation seeks to provide a safe, loving and nurturing home-life experience and exceptional liberal arts education to orphaned and foster children. The money raised will be used to improve the lives of foster and orphaned children, the families who foster/adopt them and to aged-out foster young adults.     Awards and Perks

    Awards will be given to males and females 3 deep in each age category in increments of 10 (0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+). We have classy finisher medals for the Half Marathon Finishers as a way to celebrate your accomplishments. Top 3 overall male/female winners will receive a medal and first place male/female in both the Half Marathon and 5K will also receive $100 cash!

    Discounted wine/beer tasting tickets are available for runners for only $10 and come with a souvenir race logo glass! Beer will be provided by local Wiens Brewing. Additional beer and wine tickets are available for runners and spectators.

    Parking Situation

    The race start/finish and festival will be held behind Wilson Creek. The location of the event is 39410 Berenda Rd, Temecula CA 92591.

    If you are dropping someone off, you can deliver to this address anytime before 7:00 am. The road will be closed beginning at 7:00 am, so you will not be able to get through.  Handicapped parking will also be available in this area.

  • We need you! If you don’t want to run but still want to participate, we would love to have more volunteers! You can make new friends, join in the fun, enjoy live music and be a part of a great event. Volunteers are a very important part of Temecula Half Marathon & 5K, without you it would not be possible to host a fun and safe race.

    How do I sign-up to volunteer? Please complete the volunteer sign up form  CLICK HERE

    What do I get for volunteering? In return for your precious time with us we will have snacks, drinks, a t-shirt, a hug and a high five! We will also provide a letter of service if needed.

    What time do I need to be there? Please arrive at 5:00am. You will be assigned to your specific duty for the day at this time. If you can't get there by 5:00am, WE STILL NEED YOU! PLEASE COME HELP! You may not get the specific duty you want, but we can use each and every one of you!!

    How do I get there and where do I park? Volunteers ONLY may park onsite. The parking lot will be closed at 6:00am so you will need to arrive before then to park onsite. Please click here for directions. Wilson Creek Winery 35960 Rancho California Rd. Temecula, CA 92591

    Where do I check in? There will be a volunteer tent dedicated to all volunteer needs and check in /checkout.

    What should I wear? We recommend wearing sneakers and dressing in layers. It can be very cold before the sun comes up and warm up considerably by mid-morning. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt that you can change into or put over your other shirt. We do ask that your volunteer shirt be visible though!

    Can I volunteer and do the race? You can volunteer and race. Please let us know if you intend to do so. We have volunteer needs before race day for packet stuffing and registration. You might also be able to help with the events after the race completes.

    What do I do if it rains on race morning? Come out anyway! The race should go on rain or shine! In the event of lightning, we will wait 30 minutes after the last lightning strike and then the race will go on.

    What if I want to volunteer then watch someone finish/start? Let your team leader know and they will arrange for you to go watch the finish.

    If it seems like we are done should I just take off? Let your team leader know if you are finished and would like to leave. If you would like to help out some more, check back in with the volunteer tent and we will find another assignment for you.

  • Sandy Feet Events strives to provide eco-friendly events to the San Diego community. Below is just a glimpse into our efforts:
    - Reduce paper waste by requiring at least 80% of total pre-registered race field to register online
    - No mailing of paper registration forms
    - Provide recycling bins at the event and recycle cardboard, paper, plastic and other materials
    - Provide information to athletes about public transportation options and/or provide them with ride-share options on your website
    - Offer a clothing and/or shoe recycling/reuse program (old running shoes and apparel can be recycled and/or contributed to charity organizations)
    - Replace traditional race bags (AKA swag or goodie bags) with an online or virtual version. It eliminates the need and expense of printing, paper not to mention the plastic bags
    - No single-use disposable plastic bottles for water or sports drink distributed at the finish line
    - At least 80% of all marketing and participant communications facilitated through email or website updates instead of paper mail
    - Reuse at least 80% of all signage for the event
